Wolverine Pass, Kootenay National Park, Canada, 2000
My favorite camp site in the world is Wolverine Pass. I spent several days camped in this pass while I photographed in Kootenay National Park. Isolated, yet protected, this poacher's gateway into the park provided a place where I shed my tent and took off on day trips to photograph points further; leaving at dawn and returning at dusk.
